I’m guessing, unless you were in Roses, Spain that you didn’t find any Easter Eggs like this in your yard today. Before we go any further, I have to give FULL credit for this idea to my friend Yi Lynne Weber. She conceptualized the entire dish, I merely executed.

Brunch With Bobby and Wylie…

So, I didn’t have brunch with these two gentlemen as the post title suggests… but this is what I think Bobby Flay and Wylie Dufresne would cook for brunch if they were collaborating… That would be a brunch that I’d like an invite to! The Ingredient list left to right: Blue Corn Meal, half and half, scallions, Beef “Cowboy steak” (Rib Eye), eggs, Activa RM (aka transglutaminase, aka meat glue), jalapeño, huitlacoche, and butter. Late Fried Rice

It was late. I just got back from visiting a friend at Howl at the Moon. After a couple of adult libations, I was hungry… I knew that there was rice leftover in the pressure cooker from the other night’s gumbo. I figured that I’d fry a couple of eggs sunny side up warm up the rice and have a late night snack, my version of "fourth meal".

3.20.10–Secret Family Recipe.

This is a dish my Grandpa Schultz still makes…traditional Polish recipe…

Egg Foo Young.

Recipe:

  • Your left over chineese food from the night before (at least 2 different entrees, including rice)
  • Eggs
  • Green Onions

Mix all that shit together, and cook in frying pan.

BTW- That Morimoto Black Obi Soba Ale from Rouge Brewery is the shit!
