I’m guessing, unless you were in Roses, Spain that you didn’t find any Easter Eggs like this in your yard today. Before we go any further, I have to give FULL credit for this idea to my friend Yi Lynne Weber. She conceptualized the entire dish, I merely executed.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentices Contest: Honoring the style of El Bulli

This is the dish that I made when my friend David recently told me about this contest. When I say recently, I mean like yesterday… He casually posted a link on my Facebook wall and said, "I saw this and thought of you! Spherical Olives

Here’s my first successful sphereicated olives. These are in the style of El Bulli.

…I’ve had a few other alginate successes, but recently found some documentation that will allow me to experiment much further. for now, check out the olives.

It should be noted, that olives are created using reverse spherification. I think that in most cases reverse spherification is more useful than standard spherification.
